Success is not a ladder

Success is a state of mind, an attitude towards life, who has ma? S elements of the present than of the future. Success is not defined only by important positions. Success is a living thing, not a thing to live, is it something like this? in our day a to di? to. It is not something that is going to come but something that is coming. If we make the success depend on a future condition to be fulfilled or to arrive, we will live permanently in a state of uncertainty, nonconformity and above all ingratitude in front of each of the things that our present offers us.

Success is traditionally associated with a ladder, an endless ladder that never ends. And in that way it would seem that success is never found in the present but always in the future.

Individuals are not islands. The stories are built in a dynamic and interactive relationship between the individual, their environment and other individuals. So what is the use of being successful if we can't share it with others? What is the use of achieving success if it does not have an impact on the community? Success stories are stories of sacrifice, but they are, above all, stories of gratitude.

We live in complex times that lead to the need to rethink many things. Business activity, professional performance, the business world is going through interesting redefinition processes. Questions about what constitutes success for each one of us in particular, about what we consider to be successful in life, are questions that are presented to us as professional but also existential challenges. Paving the rough road to professional success, building a less stereotypical vision of success and above all closer to what we want to be and what makes us happy, are the questions we must answer today.

Therefore, companies today are faced with the dilemma of whether to train efficient and obedient human resources or to train critical citizens with the ability to innovate and generate the transformations that a globalized world like the one we live in requires. Business centers like universities have to be thought provoking centers. They have to be spaces where the diversity of ideas, visions, ways of seeing and living life are articulated and turned into tools that can be put at the service of humanity and economic and social well-being. These are some of the steps that will help? N a build a new collective imagination that measures success by the sum of what impacts my life, but above all that of my environment.
